Aircell now following TATA DoCoMo foot steps. DoCoMo’s novel mobile tariff plan definitely created a buzz in the Indian telecom space. Following the same suite,  Aircel announced a very similar mobile scheme as that of TATA DoCoMo’s – Pay Per Second plan.  Aircell Pay Per Second plan is already running in other circles such as Kolkata and Andhra pradesh and now Karnataka. Aircell claims that their plan is way better than DoCoMo’s. With Aircel Karnataka you can make calls to any mobile network in India at just 1 paisa per second and at no extra cost.

Not much information is available at Aircel karnataka website, probably because its not updated yet. The website just says “The call duration is measured with accuracy up to +/- 1 second as per TRAI Regulations.”

SMS :

Local – 60 paisa per SMS (for the first SMS only ) after that 99 SMS Free for the day

National – Rs 1.20 per SMS (for the first SMS only) after that  99SMS Free for the day.
